This role involves managing engineering and staff support for transportation roadway and street projects, ensuring high-quality services for a diverse client base. The Sr. Engineering Manager will lead project delivery, develop staff, and maintain client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Engineer, support, and provide QC/QA for transportation planning and design projects
- Develop and mentor staff
- Collaborate with other disciplines
- Develop and maintain Client Relations
- Establish and maintain budgets and schedules
- Work in partnership with leadership and other team members throughout the Transportation Group and Company
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- 15+ years of transportation experience
- Licensed Illinois Professional Engineer (PE)
- Experience working on and with IDOT, County, and Local Agency projects
- Proven leadership skills with engineering staff
- Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment
- Ability to effectively manage clients and deliver successful projects
- Ability to contribute to several projects simultaneously
- Working experience with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of MicroStation, CONNECT, and ORD
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Civil Engineering program
- 15+ years of transportation experience with diverse project experience
