Sr. Bids Specialist

About This Role

The Sr. Bids Specialist conducts new hire training, manages team escalations, and ensures professional relationships with vendors, investors, and clients. This role performs bid specialist duties, assists with reporting, and ensures timely and accurate bid submissions aligning with investor guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review bid submissions and decisions
• Identify and resolve potential issues in investor bid specifications and communication with 3rd party bid applications
• Review vendor work orders to identify financial growth opportunities
• Ensure the team and QC prepare timely, well-written bids that align with investor guidelines
• Follow up on pending bids and finalize for submission
• Ensure investor/client decisions are accurately relayed to the GAM team and field vendors
• Maintain financial accountability by ensuring bid submissions and partial approvals meet margin expectations
• Develop new systems to streamline the bid process and increase efficiency
• Conduc new hire training for Bids Specialists on company/client guidelines and processes
• Assist Bids Supervisor in creating and managing team reporting
