Support the strategic management of Burger King's corporate real estate portfolio in the US and Canada, executing real estate negotiations and optimizing multi-unit strategies. This role works closely with development and franchising functions to grow the corporate portfolio and achieve core objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing negotiation strategies for multiple types of real estate deals including lease amendments, new leases, acquisitions, dispositions and terminations alongside the real estate Manager
- Prepare analyses and report pipeline progress for the national portfolio
- Work with franchisees to execute lease contracts and other real estate documents
- Work with landlords, internal counsel and other BK RE team members to execute contracts
- Prepare presentations for leadership on high-profile deals and pipelines
- Work with development team to identify site opportunities for new store openings
- Support condemnation (eminent domain) matters with legal counsel, municipalities, and internal stakeholders
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience related to Commercial Real Estate or QSR industry
- Familiarity with intermediate financial modeling
- Highly proficient with MS Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of commercial lease interpretation
Qualifications
- University degree in Real Estate, Business, Economics, or a related field
- 2-3 years of experience related to Commercial Real Estate or QSR industry
