The SQL Database Administrator will support the data backbone for training, security, and operational systems on a long-term government contract with the Department of Homeland Security. This role involves designing and administering SQL Server environments, ensuring database availability and integrity, and implementing backup and recovery strategies.
Responsibilities
- Design and administer Microsoft SQL Server environments
- Ensure database availability, performance, and integrity
- Implement backup and recovery strategies
- Support modernization and performance optimization initiatives
- Coordinate with application and systems teams
Requirements
- 5+ years SQL Server hands-on experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related field or equivalent experience
- SQL Server 2012 experience
- Design & implementation experience in SQL Server 2012
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or related field OR equivalent experience
- 5+ years SQL Server hands-on experience
