This Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) role involves conducting comprehensive patient assessments, implementing evidence-based therapies for various disorders, and educating patients and families. You will work in Dallas, OR, joining a team dedicated to compassionate care and innovative therapy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations
- Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results
- Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards
- Work collaboratively with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
Requirements
- Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Qualifications
- Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution
