Specialty Sales Representative, Eye Care

About This Role

This Specialty Sales Representative will lead the launch and ongoing growth of a groundbreaking product in the ophthalmic presbyopia market within the Kansas City E, MO territory. The role involves educating on disease states, driving sales, and building relationships with eye care customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the launch and ongoing growth of LENZ Therapeutics product portfolio in the ophthalmic presbyopia market
• Responsible for territory disease state education
• Deliver high standards for product launch and champion a culture of outstanding performance and compliance
• Master sales execution, resource utilization, account management, and business ownership
• Build and foster relationships with key eye care customers, including optometrists and ophthalmologists
• Maximize sales in the territory while adapting to changes and needs of the business
• Exceed sales performance goals and key productivity metrics across the territory
• Utilize analytical skills to guide highly productive activity and prioritize key customer engagements
• Ensure actionable business plans are set and align all selling activities to drive impact
• Collaborate with district managers, marketing, medical affairs, sales ops, inside sales, and training

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales with a proven track record of success
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
