Solution Architect

About This Role

This Solution Architect role requires a seasoned professional to partner with delivery teams to design and build scalable, resilient, and flexible enterprise applications, specifically supporting Enterprise Payments and Enterprise Fraud Protection platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end business and functional architecture aligned with enterprise frameworks and reusable components
• Design scalable, secure solutions meeting functional and non-functional requirements
• Partner with domain architects (DevOps, CI/CD, Mobile, POS, Digital, DB, Infra) to guide solution implementation
• Translate business requirements into detailed, implementable designs with full documentation in Jira and Confluence
• Own current- and future-state architecture models
• Conduct code and design reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on backend and cloud-supported architectures
• Support mobile architecture best practices and coordinate application release processes
• Monitor and optimize AWS resource usage and costs
• Participate in technology reviews, audits, operational readiness, and continuity planning

Requirements

• 10+ years of overall IT experience
• 3-5 years in Solution / Application Architecture
• Strong background in building enterprise, in-house applications
• Hands-on experience designing solutions with cloud-supported architectures
• Experience with payment platforms, payment processors, and fraud prevention systems
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills
• Ability to operate autonomously, handle ambiguity, and own architectural domains

Qualifications

• 10+ years of IT experience, including 3-5 years in Solution / Application Architecture

Nice to Have

• AWS cloud experience
