About This Role

This role involves overseeing the development and execution of complex technical programs for a fast-growing fintech client. Key responsibilities include leading large-scale projects, fostering collaboration, managing risks, and ensuring program alignment with strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large-scale technology projects from concept through execution
  • Develop program strategies, outlining timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Foster strong, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor project managers and other staff
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle
  • Define clear metrics for success and implement performance measurement tools
  • Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring integration of new technology
  • Provide technical guidance where necessary
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and financial compliance
  • Lead change management initiatives, ensuring technology adoption and smooth transitions

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in project or program management within a technological environment
  • Proven experience managing staff and leading large-scale projects
  • Certification in Project Management (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or equivalent
  • Experience with the latest technologies used in software development, cloud services, and system integration
  • Demonstrable success in the strategic planning and execution of large technology programs
  • Experience in change management and business process improvement
  • Deep understanding of the current technological trends, potential challenges, and strategic solutions relevant to the tech industry

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8-10 years of experience in project or program management within a technological environment, with proven experience managing staff and leading large-scale projects.
