Software Engineer 5 - Ad Connect Foundations

About This Role

This role involves building horizontal solutions that scale across the Ads organization, addressing common problems and making informed build vs. buy decisions. The Software Engineer will collaborate with senior ICs and product leaders both within and outside the Ads organization to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build horizontal solutions that scale across the Ads organization to solve common problems like Public APIs, UI infrastructure, In-App Alerting/Notifications, Ads Knowledge Graph, Data Clean Rooms, and Access Control, understanding "build vs buy" tradeoffs of internal and external solutions
• Partner closely with other Senior ICs, Eng Leaders, and Product Leaders to identify commonalities across the organization and develop common solutions
• Collaborate with teams outside of Ads to understand existing or similar use cases across the organization
• Drive a vision that enables technical leverage via these solutions alongside the product roadmap, balancing short-term business needs and long-term technical investments
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
