This position is responsible for conducting psychosocial evaluations, participating in team review of patient progress, recommending changes in treatment, and providing casework services to patients and their families dealing with psychiatric diseases.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychosocial evaluations
- Participate in team review of patient progress
- Recommend changes in treatment based on the patient’s current psychosocial needs
- Provide casework services to patients and their families in dealing with psychiatric diseases
Requirements
- Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
- New York State licensure
- CPI Certification within six (6) months of hire date or at first offering
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program
Nice to Have
- Two (2) years experience in a hospital setting or related social agency
- Previous mental health experience
