Lead the social media strategy, creativity, and execution for the CEO and Founder's Instagram channel to grow audience, engagement, retention, and drive traffic to email marketing funnels. You will work with a team to produce and schedule daily content across various channels.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end social media strategy across Shan’s Instagram page
- Build and execute growth plans focused on reach, engagement, follower growth, and brand positioning
- Identify platform-specific opportunities, trends, and emerging formats and execute on Shan’s pages
- Develop content pillars aligned with Shan’s voice, expertise, and long-term brand goals
- Translate ideas into clear content briefs for shoots, editors, and designers
- Oversee content calendars and ensure consistency without losing agility
- Collaborate on hooks, captions, narratives, and CTAs that convert attention, as well as writing scripts for content and shoots
- Track performance across platforms and regularly report on insights
- Use data to iterate content strategy (what’s working, what’s not, and why)
- Optimize posting schedules, formats, and messaging for maximum impact
- Ensure all content feels aligned with Shan’s tone, values, and positioning
- Build and nurture an engaged community (comments, DMs, audience feedback loops)
- Spot opportunities for collaborations, trends, and cultural moments
- Manage all short-form editors, as well working with the designers, Genflow & Creator College teams
- Act as the main point of ownership for social
- Bring ideas to the table independently and push creative boundaries
Requirements
- 5+ years experience managing and growing social media accounts
- Proven track record of scaling accounts and driving meaningful engagement
- Deep understanding of Instagram and what works on the platform for a founder brand
- Strong storytelling instincts
- Data-literate: comfortable analyzing performance and making strategic decisions
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience managing and growing social media accounts (creator, personal brand, or media-led brands preferred)
