About This Role

Lead engaging soccer training sessions for children ages 5 to 12, focusing on core technical skills and fostering character development in a positive and encouraging environment.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging soccer training sessions for kids ages 5 to 12
Use proven Skills Institute curriculum to teach core technical skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and teamwork
Create a positive, encouraging, and challenging environment where players can grow
Foster character development by emphasizing teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship
Build meaningful relationships with players and families
Represent the Sofive, Skills Institute, and Lil’ Kickers brands with enthusiasm
Support marketing efforts and assist with special events when needed

Requirements

A positive attitude and a big smile
Passion for youth development and a love of soccer
Willingness to learn and grow as a coach
Commitment to weekly shifts for the duration of each season
Ability to work with kids ages 5 to 12 and keep them engaged
Weekend availability is required

Qualifications

Limited coaching experience required, but a love of the game and some playing experience helps
