Responsibilities
- Supervise, train, and develop technicians
- Prioritize work orders for the service department
- Provide technical support to the service team
- Inspect repairs for quality assurance
- Maintain accurate service records
- Coordinate projects within the service department
- Collaborate with other dealership departments
- Enforce safety regulations in the shop
- Stay updated on automotive industry trends and technology
Requirements
- Proven automotive technician experience
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and repair procedures
- Supervisory experience in a shop environment
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong technical knowledge
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training preferred
- Proven automotive technician experience and supervisory experience in a shop environment required.
