Shipping & Receiving Associate

About This Role

The Shipping & Receiving Associate verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for internal processing while ensuring quality and productivity standards. The role involves operating equipment like forklifts and maintaining a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of various parts or components
• Receive incoming goods, confirm accuracy, and route appropriately to the shop floor
• Assure all quality control documents are complete and included in outgoing shipments
• Ensure that materials shipped and received are verified against pertinent documentation
• Process expedited deliveries in a timely manner
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to and enforcing safe work practices
• Safely operate equipment including forklifts and other required machinery
• Perform all computer functions necessary to track various aspects of goods
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with ISO9001, AS9100, Nadcap and Quality Management Systems
• Experienced forklift truck operator
• Factory-related experience
