This role is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of merchandise for a furniture retailer, focusing on loading, unloading, deboxing, and inspecting products while adhering to company safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload merchandise from trucks
- Properly and accurately debox and inspect all products for quality in preparation for Home Delivery
- Handle materials and merchandise properly to minimize damage or injury
- Load and unload from vendors and company-owned trucks
- Adhere to company safety policies and use personal protective equipment
- Maintain a clean and clear work environment, free from hazards
Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy objects throughout shift
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Ability to pass Criminal Background check, Lifting Assessment and Drug Test
