About This Role

Facilitate the movement of products within the distribution center, organizing outgoing orders, and loading/unloading trucks. This role supports the efficient operation and safety within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer programs, RF scanners, and printers to label product
• Inspect product for damage and document discrepancies
• Sort product into correct locations
• Stack product efficiently
• Consolidate, load and unload shipments
• Utilize load truck reports to locate product for outgoing shipments
• Ensure proper load securement for transport
• Verify product is correctly labeled for easy identification and delivery
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of work area
• Comply with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participate in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learn, pass, and practice various environmental health and safety trainings

Requirements

• 18 years of age or over
• Proficient written and oral communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
• Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule/extra time as needed
• Ability to lift, slide, carry and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 100lbs
• Pass the required drug screen

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; prior forklift experience preferred.
