Shift Supervisor

About This Role

Supervise Community Technicians and support staff in a women's shelter, ensuring policy adherence, safety, and proper record keeping. This role contributes to restoring hope and dignity for New Yorkers experiencing homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Manage Community Technicians and operations support staff activity in women's shelter
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed by staff on shift, including security and fire safety
• Maintain record keeping, reports, and clinical notes
• Attend weekly program meetings
• Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed

Requirements

• H.S. Diploma/GED
• Computer literacy
• Ability to acquire First Aid and Fire Safety certification
• Ability to acquire First Aid/CPR certification

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required. BA preferred.
• One year supervisory experience preferred. Experience with homeless in shelters or similar settings preferred.
