Set-Up

About This Role

Perform changeovers, set-up, troubleshoot, and repair production lines without compromising quality or safety. Ensure efficient operation of assigned lines by performing mechanical repairs and assisting with new product trials.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties in accordance with company and site-specific safety policies and procedures
• Read and follow all quality specifications, including completing and documenting hourly conditions verifications
• Communicate all safety, ergonomic, quality, productivity and mechanical issues to supervisors in a timely manner
• Support assigned production line while filling, including adjusting equipment, parameters, processes as needed
• Perform minor repairs and modifications on equipment
• Assist the technical department in completing line trials to support new product launches
• Identify potential bottlenecks and propose solutions before full-scale production begins
• Complete all required record keeping and paperwork completely, accurately and on time
• Accurately record Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data
• Actively work with the team to maintain a 6S workplace

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform tasks carefully, accurately, and efficiently
• Ability to follow specific instructions and comply with quality and safety standards
• Dependable and able to follow through on assignments
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers
• Computer literate and able to work in MES
