Compounder

About This Role

This Compounder I role involves the pre-weighing of raw materials, manufacturing, and processing of bulk products, and cleaning/sanitization of compounding equipment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Pre-weigh all required chemicals for batches
• Complete batches safely and timely with passing quality specifications
• Weigh, mix, and heat materials according to procedures and formula instructions
• Produce bulk using a multiple phase batch making process
• Record all production data on batch records, including raw materials, quantities, and time intervals
• Visually inspect, detect, and correct any product problems
• Identify and report equipment issues to management
• Properly transfer material to the correct kettle/mixer
• Clean and sanitize equipment before and after manufacturing
• Operate all equipment in all work centers

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment
• Understanding of GMP and OSHA safety regulations
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Effective time management skills
• Good math skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to use computers
• Ability to reach, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to use all protective and safety equipment
• Ability to follow through on assignments and complete in a timely and competent manner
• Positive leadership and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years working in a manufacturing environment
