About This Role

This role involves designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions using ITSM, ITOM-CMDB, Service Mapping, and CSDM. The architect will lead technical teams, define architectural vision, optimize ServiceNow environments, and provide expertise to clients to drive business value and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end ServiceNow solutions including ITSM, ITOM- CMDB, Service Mapping, CSDM, and other ServiceNow applications
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and technical teams to define the architectural vision and roadmap for ServiceNow implementations
  • Oversee the customization and configuration of ServiceNow modules, ensuring best practices and scalability
  • Architect integrations between ServiceNow and third-party systems (such as LDAP, Active Directory, SAP, and custom APIs)
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adoption of best practices and consistent, high-quality coding standards
  • Identify opportunities to optimize ServiceNow environments for performance, usability, and cost-efficiency
  • Establish governance processes to ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of ServiceNow environments
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing advice and recommendations to clients on ServiceNow architecture, process automation, and platform capabilities
  • Produce comprehensive solution documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and implementation guides
  • Lead efforts for system upgrades, patching, and platform enhancements

Requirements

  • 10 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions
  • 3 years in a lead or architect role
  • Expertise in ServiceNow architecture, design, and configuration (ITSM, ITOM- CMDB, Service Mapping, CSDM)
  • In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, modules, and best practices
  • Strong understanding and practical experience with ITIL frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change Management, Configuration Management)
  • Experience in implementing ITIL processes in ServiceNow
  • Experience in multiple End-to-End implementation of ITOM including CMDB processes (Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB/CSDM, Cloud Management, Orchestration)
  • Experience with CMDB design, architecture and implementations with a fair understanding of ServiceNow CMDB model and extensions
  • Hands-on experience with integrating ServiceNow with other CMDB tools and enterprise monitoring systems
  • Familiar with scripting technology such as JavaScript, PowerShell, Perl, WMI, SSH, Python, Xpath, SNMP
  • Expertise in Custom module implementations using App Engine
  • Working experience on Workflow administration, ServiceNow Reporting, Form/UI configurations, Notifications, data imports, custom scripting

Qualifications

  • 10 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing ServiceNow solutions, with at least 3 years in a lead or architect role
