Service Line Manager OR/UKHC

About This Role

Supervise and lead perioperative operations, taking responsibility for the overall assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care within the service line. This role focuses on Robotics/GYN/Urology/Laser services and reports to the Assistant Director, Perioperative Services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead perioperative operations
• Assume responsibility for overall assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care throughout the service
• Carry out the Hospital and Nursing Service mission, vision, values and the overall strategic planning
• Manage clinical management, patient care, financial management and quality management of perioperative services
• Promote hospital standards and create a patient-focused caring environment
• Address and meet the individual needs of the patient
• Foster an environment of collaboration and respect with physicians and all OR staff members

Requirements

• BSN
• 2 years of related experience
• Licensed Nurse (RN)
• Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) at time of hire, or within 1 year of hire
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-100 pounds daily
• Ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods of time
• Ability to work 8 and 12 hour shifts (7 AM to 3:30 PM and 7 AM to 7 PM Monday-Friday)
