About This Role

Serve meals and drinks to residents and guests in a senior living community, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining a clean dining environment. Assist with the training of new food servers and uphold hospitality standards.

Responsibilities

• Utilize proper food handling and food service techniques
• Take meal/drink orders and serve meals in a friendly and timely manner
• Assure resident/guest is satisfied with their meals
• Maintain knowledge of all specials and general description of all food items and explain to residents or guests
• Maintain assigned tables and surrounding area in a complete state of cleanliness, appearance and readiness
• Follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules
• Assist with orientation and training of new food servers
• Practice all safety and loss prevention procedures
• Set-up and clean the Dining Room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards
• Maintain or exceed standards of appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in fine dining
