About This Role

Provide dining and table services to residents and guests in a senior living community, ensuring proper setup, meal service, and dining room cleanliness. Handle food in accordance with sanitary procedures and comply with all regulatory food service standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas
• Ensure proper dining set-up
• Provide meal and dining services
• Clean the dining rooms
• Handle all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
• Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/ GED required
• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred

• Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living
• Understanding of infection control procedures
• Ability to multi task and manage stress
• Competence in time management / organizational skills
• Understanding and embracing of the assisted living philosophy
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours
• Possession of written and verbal skills for effective communication
• Demonstrated good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
