About This Role

Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service to guests in an Outback Steakhouse restaurant, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Exceed customer expectations by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service tailored to each guest’s preferences
• Acquire extensive knowledge of the food and drink menu to recommend, upsell, and reinforce customer orders
• Prepare food and condiments according to Outback standards
• Ensure accuracy with guest orders to achieve satisfaction
• Bus tables, deliver food and beverages, and capitalize on opportunities to "WOW" customers through teamwork
• Maintain commitment to food safety, cleanliness, job safety, and sanitation standards
• Accurately handle cash and credit card transactions
• Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old (to sell alcohol)
• Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
• Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils, and technology systems
• Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Visual ability including distance, close, color, depth, peripheral, and ability to adjust focus
• Ability to work in areas with low or dim lighting
