About This Role

Provide friendly, prompt, and attentive service to customers, ensuring an AUS-SOME dining experience by having extensive menu knowledge, accurate order taking, and efficient food and beverage delivery. Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Exceed customer expectations by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service tailored to each guest’s preference and cues
• Maintain extensive knowledge of the food and drink menu, recommend, upsell, and reinforce customer orders
• Prepare food and condiments adhering to Outback standards
• Ensure accuracy with guest orders to achieve satisfaction
• Buss tables, deliver food and beverages, and seize every opportunity to WOW customers
• Commit to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately
• Demonstrate teamwork by supporting all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old (to sell alcohol)
• Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
• Able to work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time, up to 8 hours per shift
• Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
• Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
• Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus
• Ability to work in areas with low or dim lighting
