About This Role

This role is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality to guests in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient and professional service for dining and banquet experiences. The Server will maintain menu knowledge, present food items neatly and promptly, and communicate effectively with team members and customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered
• Provide quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to banquet guests
• Communicate clearly with all customers
• Ensure food items are served at proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the kitchen
• Ensure neat presentation of all ordered items
• Pre-buses tables and full buses tables when necessary during peak periods
• Maintain availability to work during many peak periods
• Stock beverage station(s) when necessary (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc)
• Maintain high responsiveness to customer desires and requests
• Maintain a professional and clean appearance
• Communicate with wait staff, bus persons, bartenders, supervisors, and kitchen staff
• Build and maintain knowledge regarding bar offerings so that patron questions may be accurately answered

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related Food Service Job Experience
• Food Handlers Card
• Alcohol Awareness Certification
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
• Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related Food Service Job Experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment preferred
