About This Role

Serve food and beverages to guests, taking orders, ensuring accuracy, and delivering items promptly while maintaining cleanliness and guest satisfaction. This role involves working in a dynamic team environment with a focus on customer service.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage to include the order-taking, delivery and clearing of any food and/or beverage items
• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions
• Take orders and input them into the Point of Sale computer to inform the kitchen of particulars
• Retrieve orders from kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
• Practice safety and sanitation policies at all times

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods
• High level of organization, cleanliness and a sense-of-urgency

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience
