Server / Bartender / FOH

About This Role

Serve patrons with a friendly attitude and extensive knowledge of Sister Lakes Brewing Company products by accurately taking orders, handling payments, and maintaining a clean and organized serving area.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests quickly and politely
• Perform opening and closing duties, including light cleaning
• Serve customers enthusiastically and respectfully
• Serve alcohol responsibly, adhering to Federal and State requirements, training guidelines, and company policies
• Take food and beverage orders promptly and enter them into the point-of-sale system
• Handle cash and collect payments from customers accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, bar, and serving areas
• Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make appropriate recommendations
• Accurately describe all beers on tap and make recommendations when requested
• Provide the highest level of service in accordance with company standards
• Check customers' identification to confirm legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Clean glassware, utensils, and bar equipment
• Complete additional duties assigned as necessary

Requirements

• Flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
• Excellent customer service skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment for prolonged periods of time
• Positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure
• Able to execute high-quality work with minimal supervision
• Able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and drinks
• Willingness to follow instruction and ask questions for clarification when needed
• Able to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system
