About This Role

Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to all regulations for a Bar & Grill in New Orleans.

Responsibilities

• Service of food and/or beverage including order-taking, delivery and clearing of items
• Check station before, during and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner and explain specials/promotions
• Take orders and input them into the Point of Sale computer
• Retrieve orders from the kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies regarding serving alcoholic beverages

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Food Worker Card
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• Minimum one year of previous serving experience preferred
