About This Role

Serve food and beverages to guests, ensure satisfaction, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding alcohol service.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and/or beverage to guests
• Take orders and input them into the Point of Sale computer
• Deliver accurate orders to guests from the kitchen
• Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set-up and cleanliness
• Greet guests in a friendly and courteous manner
• Explain specials and restaurant promotions to guests
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Food Worker Card required
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred
• A minimum of one year of previous serving experience preferred

Nice to Have

• Minimum of one year of previous serving experience
