As a Server Assistant at Diplomat Prime within The Diplomat Beach Resort, you will be responsible for setting and clearing dining tables and stocking service stations to deliver outstanding guest service and contribute to financial profitability.
Responsibilities
- Set and prepare tables for dining, including folding napkins, cleaning and placing tableware, and serving water
- Ensure tableware is in good and working condition and report any defects for repair
- Stock, maintain and clean designated food station(s)
- Assist food server(s) with table service, including serving beverages and breads
- Retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
Requirements
- Solidified knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Previous experience in a high-volume, professional atmosphere
- Detail-oriented approach to work
- Previous experience working in a time-sensitive atmosphere
- Excellent multitasking abilities
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in customer service or food and beverage (serving, food running, or bussing)
- Hotel experience
- Union experience
