Senior Valuation Analyst

About This Role

Join a global alternative investment platform as a Senior Valuation Analyst, focusing on portfolio valuation and performance monitoring. This role involves valuation execution, portfolio analytics, and financial analysis, supporting deal teams and senior finance leadership.

Responsibilities

• Support quarterly and annual valuation processes for private equity portfolio companies in accordance with fair value standards (ASC 820 / IPEV)
• Build, review, and refine valuation models including DCFs, public and transaction comparables, unit economics, and capital structure waterfalls
• Partner closely with deal teams to analyze operating performance, key value drivers, and changes in business outlook
• Prepare valuation materials and analyses for internal review committees and senior stakeholders
• Assist with portfolio monitoring, including tracking key financial metrics, performance trends, and investment-level insights

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in investment banking, valuation/advisory, transaction services, or a private equity / alternative investment environment
• Strong foundation in corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and financial modeling
• Advanced Excel skills

• Experience with private equity valuations or portfolio analysis

• CPA, CFA, or progress toward a designation
