This Senior Tax Accountant II role at Incite Tax involves preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, advising clients on tax-saving strategies, and mentoring junior accountants. Responsibilities

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns with accuracy and confidence
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend proactive strategies to clients
• Communicate tax information clearly and consistently with clients
• Lead and mentor junior tax accountants, conduct peer reviews, and provide feedback
• Review 25-30 returns per week during peak season (15 in off-season) while maintaining quality and efficiency
• Collaborate with fellow senior accountants to ensure consistent, high-quality results and efficient processes
• Stay current with tax law changes and compliance requirements
• Participate in ongoing training and contribute ideas for improving tax systems and client experience

Requirements

• Experience preparing, reviewing, and filing tax returns
• Proficient in tax software (CCH) and accounting systems
• Strong compliance knowledge
• Skilled in peer review, mentoring, and supporting team members
• Excellent communication and client advisory skills
• Team player

Qualifications

• 4+ years in tax or public accounting

• CPA license or EA certification
