Senior Solutions Architect – Enterprise Cloud Architecture

About This Role

This Senior Solutions Architect will design and deliver scalable, reusable cloud-based architecture solutions for a client's Global Services & Data Platform Division, aligning business objectives with enterprise technology strategy. The role requires deep experience in cloud-native architectures, data platforms, API and integration design, and enterprise governance.

Responsibilities

• Drive business and IT alignment by designing reusable cloud architecture solutions
• Collaborate with IT leadership to define technology strategy, standards, capabilities, roadmaps, and best practices
• Act as a technical lead addressing architecture requirements related to compute, storage, integration, compatibility, and multi-platform environments
• Design solutions integrating PaaS/SaaS platforms using WAF principles and industry best practices
• Partner with business analysts, project managers, infrastructure engineers, and developers to translate requirements into architectural solutions
• Participate in Architecture Review Board (ARB) processes and obtain approvals
• Support application delivery teams by developing services, reusable patterns, components, standards, and frameworks
• Produce architecture diagrams, workflows, and models using tools such as Visio and Draw.io
• Evaluate vendor solutions through RFP/RFI/RFQ and SOW processes
• Ensure projects adhere to the development lifecycle and enterprise quality standards
• Identify and mitigate architecture and delivery risks
• Stay current with technology trends, particularly within the automotive and data platform space

Requirements

• Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture and technical concepts into business value
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
• Experience designing cloud-native and data-centric architectures (serverless, scalable compute & storage, data lakes, cloud databases, data warehouses)
• Expertise in API design, data integration platforms, ETL/ELT, microservices, data mesh, data fabric, and streaming architectures
• Experience supporting transactional and analytical systems
• Strong collaboration skills across business and technical teams
• Experience operating within enterprise architecture governance frameworks

• 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience
