Senior IT Project Manager – SaaS & Enterprise Platforms

About This Role

Lead medium to large-scale, highly complex IT initiatives involving SaaS and open-platform technologies. This role involves end-to-end project execution, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication for enterprise projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble detailed project plans, define teamwork assignments, and direct daily work efforts
• Track key milestones and adjust project scope, schedules, and resource plans as needed
• Manage one or more cross-functional projects of medium to large size and moderate to high complexity
• Conduct plan vs. actual cost tracking, issue resolution, schedule management, and executive status reporting
• Coordinate communication across enterprise stakeholders impacting scope, budget, risk, and resources
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
• Serve as the primary Sr. Project Manager while also learning the business domain to support solution delivery
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and escalate risks, timeline, and functional issues appropriately

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10–12 years of overall IT experience
• 5+ years of hands-on project management experience
• Advanced ability to implement and manage complex project plans, budgets, and forecasts
• Strong expertise in resource management, quality control, and schedule management
• Advanced experience with risk assessment and mitigation planning
• Proven ability to manage moderate to highly complex, multi-workstream IT projects
• Strong financial management experience including budget tracking and forecast control

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 10-12 years of overall IT experience and 5+ years of hands-on project management experience

Nice to Have

• Ability to collaborate effectively with architecture and technical engineering teams
• Strong decision-analysis skills with the ability to recommend optimal tools, methods, and approaches
• Experience managing projects with multiple sub-projects reporting into a common program structure
• 3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience
• Stable work history with large enterprise organizations
