Senior Scientist, Rider Personalization

About This Role

As a Scientist, you will enhance the personalization of AIML experiences for Rider app users globally. You will use data science and analysis to measure and optimize recommendation systems, improving user satisfaction and business growth through impactful channels.

Responsibilities

• Define, build, and visualize appropriate metrics to measure user behavior and algorithm performance
• Ensure explainability and observability, making data easily discoverable, understandable, and actionable via simulation tooling and dashboards
• Design, implement, and analyze experiments and quasi-experiments using appropriate statistical methodologies
• Design and build agentic AI to automate data science workflows
• Evangelize proactive insights that influence product or algorithm strategy, such as discovering trends, anomalies, and behavior patterns in AIML systems

Requirements

• Experience defining, building, and visualizing appropriate metrics to measure user behavior and algorithm performance
• Technical depth in designing, implementing, and analyzing experiments/quasi-experiments using appropriate causal inference methodologies
• Interest and curiosity for using agentic AI to automate data science workflows
• Ability to evangelize proactive insights that influence product or algorithm strategy

Nice to Have

• Experience designing and building agentic AI to automate data science workflows
• Expertise in causal inference modeling
