Senior Project Manager - Water Wastewater Engineer

About This Role

Manage large or complex municipal water and wastewater projects, overseeing design, coordination, and staff development. This role focuses on relationships with public and private clients, primarily local municipal and quasi-governmental water/sewer authorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, coordinate, and manage multiple large or complex water and wastewater projects simultaneously
• Manage and develop project staff, supporting their growth and potential
• Successfully complete projects on time and within budget with high-level supervision
• Develop project proposals and scopes of work
• Serve as primary client contact, maintaining strong client relationships

Requirements

• Strong understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure and process design, preferably with municipal systems
• Experience with management of both public and private projects
• Focus on local municipal and quasi-governmental (e.g. water/sewer authorities) clients
• Advanced knowledge of Civil 3D, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, and Microsoft Office software
• Ability to analyze, coordinate and manage several large or complex projects at one time
• Ability to manage and develop project staff
• Ability to complete projects successfully, on-time, on-budget
• Project experience in the southeastern United States, preferably Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Master's in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• 15+ years experience working with the design of municipal water/wastewater projects

Nice to Have

• Experience with InfoWorks WS and/or InfoWater modeling software by Innovyze
