About This Role

This Senior Project Manager role is responsible for overseeing all project administration including contractual requirements, managing trade partner agreements, purchase orders, and risk management. The role also involves managing general work performance, quality, and overall team progress against the project plan for a national construction firm.

Responsibilities

  • Produce thorough forecasts of Cost-to-Complete, identifying potential exposures and coordinating with Oracle and Expedition systems
  • Require the project team to track costs of field directives and back charges for forecasting purposes
  • Manage change order process, including tracking Proposed Change Order (PCO) items and producing monthly Owner Change Orders (OCO)
  • Establish and implement effective project close-out plans, including collection and review of contract documents
  • Manage owner and subcontractor requisition processes, ensuring timely approvals and payments
  • Consistently manage project cash flow and produce effective Schedules of Values to support a strong financial position
  • Establish and lead effective meeting regiments for project teams, utilizing agendas and time limits
  • Maintain and periodically review project logs for accuracy, including cash management, change management, and procurement
  • Build strong relationships with subcontractors, addressing issues immediately with non-performing parties
  • Provide leadership in developing and tracking clear, thorough, and accurate baseline contract schedules

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline
  • 10+ years of experience relative to project size and scope
  • Excellent business judgment and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze and execute financial trade-offs, manage change, and multi-task
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take decisive action
  • Excellent diplomatic and communication skills for team leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience relative to project size and scope
