About This Role

The Senior Project Manager will plan, direct, and coordinate activities of assigned construction projects and programs, ensuring that client and company goals are met. This role involves managing project scopes, budgets, vendor relationships, and ensuring proper documentation for large projects and client programs.

Responsibilities

  • Manage large projects and client programs, from developing scope to coordinating bid packages and presenting owner recommendations.
  • Develop and manage project or program budgets, ensuring owner approval and overseeing contractor efforts to meet client goals.
  • Ensure proper documentation is used throughout the project, including contracts, meeting notes, and close-out manuals.
  • Provide regular progress updates to client management as requested.
  • Manage all aspects of project administration and financial management, including accruals and budgeting.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of construction project management experience
  • Proficiency in technical construction project management
  • Experience with financial management, including accruals and budgeting
  • Vendor management skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction specifications, drawings, and government regulations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal, written, and personal communication skills
  • Ability to complete estimates, financial reports, schedules, and client updates
  • Ability to understand construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, regulations, contracts, and financial forecasts
  • Ability to counsel, coach, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Comfortable presenting information, proposals, and updates to clients and upper management
  • Expertise in building relationships with stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in related field (Engineering, Construction Management), or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 10 years of Project Management experience specific to the construction field.
