About This Role

Lead operations as a Senior Production Manager within a plant leadership team, driving supply chain success in high-speed operations. This role focuses on inspiring, developing, and leading manufacturing teams to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor to cultivate a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Instill a positive, proactive safety culture to minimize accidents and lost-time injuries
  • Maintain full accountability for the financial performance of all managed manufacturing areas, ensuring budget compliance
  • Optimize production flow, manage staffing for 24/7 schedules, and troubleshoot manufacturing issues
  • Develop and execute plans supporting 3-year strategic growth objectives for the Home & Garden business
  • Lead the implementation and sustainment of Lean Manufacturing principles across multiple production units
  • Serve as a critical member of the Plant Leadership Team, leading best practice development and sharing
  • Work collaboratively across functions to ensure cohesive execution toward unified KPIs

Requirements

  • 7+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a CPG company
  • Experience in Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
  • Experience with capital projects
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
  • Proven results in manufacturing and supply chain leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 7 or more years of management experience in a manufacturing environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience with contract manufacturing and packaging
  • Ability to comprehend financial reports including budgetary guidelines, manufacturing labor and material standards, and project expenditures
  • Strong leadership experience with demonstrated ability to develop manufacturing methods to meet product cost targets
