This role involves leading product development and optimization for a financial services client by using user research and collaborating with various teams. You will contribute to creating innovative products and improving existing offerings within one of the world's leading financial organizations.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities reflecting customer and market needs through user research and discovery.
- Consider and plan for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience.
- Support the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap.
- Analyze, track, and evaluate product metrics against time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle.
- Write requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development.
- Perform in-depth analysis for fact-finding on existing system behavior, including business logic and end-to-end data flow.
- Refine stories to enable code development and testing without defects or requirements gaps, and write acceptance criteria and generate test scripts.
- Manage product backlog with Product Owners, including refining two sprints backlog and partnering with the Scrum Master on sequencing.
Requirements
- 3+ years in product management or relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Experience with agile product development and software delivery lifecycle
- Advanced knowledge of using tools like Confluence and JIRA
- Effective communicator with excellent written communication skills related to business requirements or executive presentations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area.

- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- Ability to easily assimilate information and learn new applications and processes (e.g., API-based designs, micro services, web services)
