As a Senior Product Designer on the Social team, you will design and build end-to-end social sharing products for the core player app. This role involves defining UX strategy, leading design for immersive experiences across various platforms, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user connections on Roblox.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design for social sharing experiences across Roblox, from concept through launch and iteration
- Own cross-team initiatives and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Science, and Trust & Safety
- Help define UX strategy, long-term vision, and scalable patterns for core social surfaces
- Design high-craft, intuitive interfaces across mobile, desktop, 10ft, XR wearables, and beyond
- Partner with Design Systems to build reusable components that scale across teams
- Use research, analytics, and experimentation to identify opportunities and improve outcomes
- Deliver high-quality specs and partner closely with engineering to ensure excellent implementation
- Mentor other designers and raise the bar through critique, collaboration, and craft leadership
Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience delivering consumer-facing products
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking, craft excellence, and shipped impact
- Proven ability to lead multi-team projects and operate independently in ambiguous spaces
- Strong UX, interaction, and visual design skills across platforms and devices
- Experience designing scalable systems, patterns, or design frameworks
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills; strong cross-functional influence
- Proficiency with Figma and modern prototyping tools
Qualifications
- 8+ years of product design experience delivering consumer-facing products
Nice to Have
- Experience in social/communication product design
- 3D prototyping tools experience
- Passion for gaming, UGC platforms, and the future of immersive social experiences
