Senior Managing Director

About This Role

This role involves overseeing and directing all activities for office or location, communicating overall strategy, and upholding corporate policies and procedures. The Senior Managing Director will develop objectives and strategic plans to meet business unit and corporate goals, manage financial planning, and oversee client interactions to broaden relationships and grow the business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, plan, and direct all activities for the offices or locations
• Communicate overall strategy to reporting managers and employees
• Uphold corporate policies and procedures
• Develop objectives and strategic plans for location or market that meet Business Unit and Corporate objectives
• Direct activities of office or location toward accomplishing those objectives
• Oversee development and monitoring of financial planning, and pricing of products and services
• Responsible for capital and expense budgets
• Oversee client interactions and communications
• Monitor retention of current clients and broadening of relationships
• Address specific sensitive or complex client needs
• Identify and research potential for community or market expansion
• Develop sales goals for new business
• Oversee communication strategies and identification of prospective clients/business
• Participate in sales presentations
• Investigate strategic opportunities for acquisition or expansion

Requirements

• Leadership and organizational skills to determine goals, resource needs, and to assess and develop the skills of staff
• Capable to direct the activities for multiple units
• Knowledge of business strategy development provide long term planning and to manage the profitability/performance of a major business segment
• College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience

• Relevant proven work experience is required/preferred.
