Senior Managing Consultant, Services Business Development

About This Role

This role involves selling and supporting the delivery of professional services projects for Mastercard Data & Services, managing client and internal relationships while ensuring quality deliverables and effective presentations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in effective working relationships with internal and external clients
• Capture clients' implicit business needs and identify critical problem aspects
• Lead formal and informal pitches, creating concise, persuasive written materials
• Effectively manage a pipeline of proposals from lead stages through to signature
• Deliver on sales numbers
• Take a leading role in supporting major Mastercard deals, including RFP and cross-selling value-added services
• Proactively seek new knowledge and skills and facilitate the development of intellectual capital
• Coach and provide feedback to junior resources
• Support the project team in problem-solving and structuring project work plans
• Formulate, articulate, and prioritize project activities
• Oversee the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of analyses
• Develop conclusions and recommendations

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree
• MBA or relevant post-graduate degree
• Strong commercially/business development-oriented experience
• Strong relationship management skills
• Technical fluency (comfortable with technology solutions, able to discuss trends and simplify concepts)
• Experience in managing projects and teams
• Ability to work on a team or independently and to influence and build consensus
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in Spanish and English

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree required, MBA or relevant post-graduate degree required
