This role involves developing and managing deep relationships with Community Institutions customers, understanding their business objectives, and identifying opportunities to implement Mastercard products and solutions. The director will also negotiate and manage customer contract agreements to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
Responsibilities
- Develop deep relationships with Community Institutions customers across multiple product lines and management levels
- Understand customers’ business objectives and goals, while identifying pain points
- Develop and implement account plans to address with Mastercard products and solutions
- Build and maintain strong working relationships, both internally and externally, with a diverse and cross-functional team
- Negotiate, execute and manage customer contract agreement process, ensuring global linkage of resources and information sharing
- Identify and develop new business opportunities that provide the best potential for future business growth and return on financial investments
- Provide consultative industry and Mastercard insights in alignment with segment specialty
Requirements
- Outstanding ability to manage and grow internal and external cross functional relationships and partnerships with executives at all levels
- Sound business judgment with established strategic and conceptual thinking and planning skills
- Demonstrated track record of planning, managing and closing complex, competitive sales effort and project management
- Excellent strategic thinking with strong analysis skills with a proven track record of creating solutions that increase revenue
- Self-starter who is highly organized, collaborative and results driven
