About This Role

Lead and manage the growth and nurturing of the west coast mid-large market client book within the retirement business, focusing on client satisfaction, retention, and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage staff, providing guidance, coaching, training, and motivation
  • Hire, evaluate, counsel personnel, and recommend wage adjustments
  • Responsible for the retention, satisfaction, and growth of clients within assigned segment
  • Coach team to strategically navigate internal and external organizations with a commercial orientation
  • Lead senior and experienced direct reports and colleagues, holding the team accountable to high standards and developmental goals
  • Accountable for financial targets
  • Responsible for setting a clear growth and retention strategy for the assigned market segment
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 8+ years financial services experience
  • 4+ years in a senior level client or prospect relationship role
  • Requires a regulatory license and/or registration (e.g. FINRA, state, SFC)

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Eight years financial services experience with at least four years in a senior level client or prospect relationship role

Nice to Have

  • Graduate degree preferred
