About This Role

Lead the Labor & Delivery unit at Swedish First Hill, overseeing quality, finance, staffing, and patient/caregiver experience. This role supports the Women & Children's Services department.

Responsibilities

  • Oversight of quality, finance, staffing, and patient/caregiver experience
  • Partnership with L&D and Women & Children’s leadership teams
  • Lead technical discussions and code reviews
  • Mentor junior engineers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Minimum 5 years as a Nurse Manager or equivalent
  • Acute care nursing background
  • Washington RN License (upon hire)
  • National Provider BLS from the American Heart Association

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school
  • Minimum 5 years as a Nurse Manager or equivalent, with acute care nursing background

Nice to Have

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Experience in a unionized healthcare environment
