About This Role

Perform expert-level maintenance on industrial equipment, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex control systems, and leading continuous improvement activities to ensure factories run efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
  • Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items, evaluating alternatives for cost and reliability improvement
  • Independently perform maintenance according to industry standards
  • Optimize preventative maintenance procedures by working with Planner Scheduler
  • Setup and operate multiple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding) if required
  • Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards
  • Lead, drive, and participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities using CI tools and methodology
  • Provide assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams
  • Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration issues
  • Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data, observe trends, and make recommendations
  • Update records and review CMMS history and analyze data
  • Complete and conduct on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development
  • Follow all safety-related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
  • Associates degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in specific industry OR 7 years of experience in specific industry
  • Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment
  • Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems
  • Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools

Qualifications

  • Associates degree with a Technical focus or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of related experience in specific industry with an Associate's degree, or 7 years of experience without an Associate's degree.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations
