Perform expert-level maintenance on industrial equipment, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting complex control systems, and leading continuous improvement activities to ensure factories run efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform expert level break-fix and preventative maintenance on industrial equipment
- Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items, evaluating alternatives for cost and reliability improvement
- Independently perform maintenance according to industry standards
- Optimize preventative maintenance procedures by working with Planner Scheduler
- Setup and operate multiple machining operations (lathe, drill press, grinder, welding) if required
- Comply with 5S and housekeeping standards
- Lead, drive, and participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) activities using CI tools and methodology
- Provide assistance to lower level technicians and leadership to project teams
- Troubleshoot and analyze complex control systems to resolve software/hardware and configuration issues
- Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data, observe trends, and make recommendations
- Update records and review CMMS history and analyze data
- Complete and conduct on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development
- Follow all safety-related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines
Requirements
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
- Associates degree with a Technical focus and 5 years of related experience in specific industry OR 7 years of experience in specific industry
- Experience in predictive technologies, precision alignments, and general maintenance of applicable process equipment
- Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems
- Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools
Qualifications
- Associates degree with a Technical focus or equivalent experience
- 5 years of related experience in specific industry with an Associate's degree, or 7 years of experience without an Associate's degree.
Nice to Have
- Experience in vibration analysis or laser interferometer operations
