Senior Java Software Engineer

About This Role

Support critical Treasury Data Lake and Treasury Dashboard initiatives by performing system-level analysis, design, development, and testing of complex software applications. This role is crucial for maintaining project timelines and business outcomes related to P&L functionality.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-complexity system-level analysis, design, development, and unit testing of software applications based on business requirements and design documents
• Develop, enhance, and maintain backend and frontend applications
• Resolve defects identified during various testing cycles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Ensure code quality through unit testing and automation
• Support cloud-based application development and deployment on AWS

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in SDLC methodologies
• Solid understanding of application architecture, application servers, and database systems
• Experience using modern programming languages to solve business needs
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 10+ years of software development experience across relevant platforms
