Senior Genomics Sales Director

About This Role

This role involves leading and developing sales strategies for a designated region, ensuring both sales goals and quotas are met. The Senior Genomics Sales Director will also analyze market trends, manage sales data, and educate customers on Fulgent Genetics' products and services in the genomics and rare diseases market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies based on opportunity analysis and business analytics.
• Meet or exceed regional sales goals and quotas.
• Create and maintain a Regional Business Plan.
• Analyze data, create, and manage regional data in the Salesforce CRM.
• Complete assigned sales and company training.
• Educate customers on Fulgent's service menu and associated science.
• Forecast sales predictions and recognize shifts in the marketplace.
• Maintain consistent contact with customers, prospects, and business partners.
• Act as an advisor to the direct manager on sales aspects such as business intelligence analysis, market trend analysis, and strategy development.
• Acquire market intelligence and feedback for the direct manager and marketing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 3+ years of successful clinical genomics diagnostics sales experience
• 5+ years of verifiable sales accomplishments meeting goals and demonstrating negotiation skills
• Strong scientific and technical aptitude
• Strong Salesforce CRM knowledge and daily commitment
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preference for life sciences background.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical genomics diagnostics sales experience and 5+ years of sales accomplishments.

• Experience calling on Children’s Hospitals and academic institutions in the rare diseases market
